On March 12, the National Accreditation Commission formalized its decision to grant the highest accreditation possible to our Catholic Religion Pedagogy Program at UC.

The guides are made available by the UC Education Gender Subdirectorate to the entire community as essential material for building more just, inclusive, and violence-free educational spaces.

The UC School of Education, together with its Research Ecosystem, makes available to the community various materials that promote gender equity in the classroom.

New students join a training process where they will deepen their knowledge to bring innovation and improvement to different educational spaces.

Dean Alejandro Carrasco invited students to take advantage of the program's interdisciplinary experience and the resources provided by the Faculty. 

This initiative was announced within the framework of the UC Education Colloquia, which seeks to innovate in work methodologies when integrating research and educational practice.

The number of participants at the event has increased year after year, which is “very positive, because we are trying to have an impact not only in Chile, but in the region,” said Daniela Véliz, vice dean of Education at UC, organizer of one of the Summit sessions.

It will take place between January 13 and 15 through two free online sessions, and will feature prominent national and international speakers.

Javiera Marfán, Magdalena Müller, Francisca Ubilla and Felipe Godoy (CJE) were the ones who achieved awards.

Teaching and learning through disciplines is the name of the specialization that will be incorporated into the program from 2025, which proposes an update to design teaching proposals aligned with the current curricular bases. Carmen Gloria Zúñiga, academic representative of the specialization, gives the keys to this proposal.

11 experts will be part of this group, convened by Mineduc, which will prepare recommendations for possible modifications to SAE.
