The “Health and Wellbeing in Schools” initiative, led by Dr. Patricia Guerrero (UC Education) together with ACHS and SUSESO, will work throughout the year with six schools in the SLEP El Pino to prevent psychosocial risks and strengthen teacher wellbeing.
The meetings promoted reflection on pedagogical practices based on scientific inquiry methodologies and authentic assessment.

CELITED began its public work with the Academic Meeting 'Keys to School Improvement in Diverse Contexts', held within the framework of the UC International Summit on Education 2026 and the XV Inter-American Conference on School Management and Leadership.
Designed by the UC Center for Educational Transformation (CENTRE) of the UC Faculty of Education, in conjunction with the Ministry of Education and the UNDP, the proposal will support more than a thousand teachers through specialized tutoring and collaborative work to strengthen the teaching of writing in urban, rural and extreme schools in the country.
The event included reflections on the contributions and future plans of these spaces, which were developed during the second half of this year. Awards were also presented to those who contributed to these processes, whether as participants or facilitators.
For the fourth year, Ópera UC presents "The Magic Flute in Schools," a project that combines arts education and Project-Based Learning to bring opera to students in grades 1 through 8. The initiative includes performances in San Ramón and Ñuñoa, and an educational book will soon be available as open access.

Within the framework of the "Education, Democracy and Gender" cycle, students, academics and professionals met to collectively think about the current challenges of education in Chile.
The event was organized by the Chile Needs Comprehensive Sexuality Education Foundation and had the support of the Catholic University of Chile (UC) and other institutions. It established itself as a landmark meeting point between the academic world and the public.
