Daniela Véliz, Vice Dean of Education at UC, presented the results of her Fondecyt Regular project on mentoring programs for early-career academics at six Chilean universities, addressing their benefits and recommendations for public policy. The event included comments from Solange Rivera, a professor at the UC Faculty of Medicine.

CELITED will support the educational improvement of 298 establishments in Antofagasta, Metropolitan and Los Ríos for four years, benefiting more than 66 students, under the leadership of the UC Faculty of Education together with the Catholic University Silva Henríquez and the University of Antofagasta.

The article proposes an index to measure the public-private relationship in education, which was applied in London and Santiago, Chile.

The projects seek to generate evidence and recommendations to strengthen decision-making in critical areas of the school system and early childhood education.
