The academic was elected by vote of the members of the HEIRNET network and is the only Latin American representative on this committee, which constitutes a milestone for international collaboration in the area of ​​teaching history and social sciences.

For the next four years, the teacher Carmen Gloria Zuniga, an academic at the UC Faculty of Education, will be part of the board of directors of HEIRNET (History Educators International Research Network), a renowned international network dedicated to research in the teaching of history.

Professor Zúñiga was Elected by vote of the network members, she is the only Latin American representative on this committeeThis constitutes a milestone for international collaboration in the area of ​​teaching history and social sciences.

Over 30 years of experienceHEIRNET was born as a project driven by academics from the United Kingdom and has become an international network that brings together specialists from different countries to promote research and academic exchange.
