The academics join the editorial teams of Assessing Writing, Improving Schools and Developmental Psychology respectively, high-impact international publications in the field of education.
The academics from the UC Education Department, Natalia Ávila y Javiera Marfan y Maria Ines Susperreguy They recently joined the editorial teams of prestigious international scientific journals in the field of education. This high-level distinction recognizes the career and academic contributions of both researchers in their respective areas of expertise.

Javiera Marfan, assistant professor of Education at UC, will join the editorial team of the journal Improving SchoolsA triennial publication from Sage with an impact factor of 2.0, indexed in Scopus and the Web of Science Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), this journal provides an international forum for peer-reviewed research that questions, reimagines, and strengthens school improvement, with a focus on organizational and systemic levels of action. “I am delighted to accept this invitation to join the editorial board of Improving Schools "And I hope to contribute to the important work you do in disseminating excellent research to support school improvement, situated organizational change, and the implementation of educational policies," the academic commented.
Since early 2025, Maria Ines Susperreguy participate as Associate Editor Journal Developmental Psychology, of the American Psychological Association (APA). The academic is the only editor from Latin America of this prestigious publication in developmental psychology, indexed in WoS (and in Scopus), and with an impact factor of 3,1.
