The physical space of a classroom or kindergarten is the third educator after the teacher and the family, said the experts invited to the launch of the book Pedagogies to inhabit the kindergarten, which took place on August 18 at the Lo Contador Campus .

The academic and researcher from the UC School of Education gave talks on admission systems to Chilean higher education and the effect of the SEP law on school effectiveness at the universities of California Berkeley and at San José State University in the United States Joined.

The French philosopher and writer gave a master class in the UC School of Education auditorium, in which he stated that “what is problematic is when life revolves around consumption. And that is where education must propose other models of life, different from today's hyper-consumerism”.

With total success in registrations, the seminar organized by the Interdisciplinary Research Platform Normality, Difference and Education was held, which brought together various actors from the educational field.

A new text systematizes the experience of educating from the faith in Catholic schools and universities in Chile, and addresses issues such as management challenges, the role of pastoral care, policies and quality assurance mechanisms, among others.
