Dr. Ibrahim S. Makkai, a physician at Mongo Provincial Hospital; and Indri Olivo, director of the Francisco Xavier de Abéché nursery school and Coordinator of preschool institutions of the apostolic vicariate of Mongo, Chad, met, during May, with UC Theology and Education academics to discuss the project “Cohabiting death” and “ Morituri”.
The activity included a visit and presentation by Alejandra Arratia, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, and a discussion panel moderated by the Dean of Education UC Alejandro Carrasco.

During the meeting, in which the Newcomer Welcome was also held, authorities, student representatives and Francisca Elgueta, winner of the Global Teacher Prize 2022, participated.
Nearly 130 students participated in welcome activities, including talks on mental health and self-care.
The event was attended by Claudia Lagos, Undersecretary for Early Childhood Education, and Linda Mitchell, WMIER academic from the University of Waikato, New Zealand.
The International Summit on Education, organized by the Catholic University, will have the participation of 13 authorities, academics, and academics from the UC Faculty of Education, who will make presentations, comment, and deliver conclusions throughout the week.
