The UC Faculty of Education has a network of schools, where hundreds of students –starting in the first year– carry out their internships. The future teachers arrive at the campuses and throughout the process are accompanied by the collaborating teachers. Here we explain its importance.

A new text systematizes the experience of educating from the faith in Catholic schools and universities in Chile, and addresses issues such as management challenges, the role of pastoral care, policies and quality assurance mechanisms, among others.

The day of reflection organized by the Faculty of Education UC and Pastoral UC, brought together its professors around the encyclical Ex Corde Ecclesiae. The activity was attended by the rector Ignacio Sánchez, the Vice Chancellor Cristián Roncagliolo, the academics of Education UC Lorena Medina and Érika Himmel, as well as the vicar of Education of the Archdiocese, Presbítero Tomás Scherz.

The UC Faculty of Education held two Practice Fairs for Pedagogy students in Early Childhood and Basic Education. Both activities included the exhibition of more than one hundred experiences of future professionals.
