The call for entries to the exhibition is now open. Gabriela Mistral Cemetery, an initiative by professor and researcher Ricard Huerta of the University of Valencia, which seeks to combine innovation and inclusion from a cultural, participatory, and technological perspective.

The proposal Gabriela Mistral Cemetery Part of an artistic and educational project that combines artistic creation and arts education. The aim is to promote the cemetery as a potential educational space, a place of memory and respect, an environment for patient reflection, an exceptional artistic setting, and an opportunity for arts education and heritage experience.

The idea is to vindicate the figure of Gabriela Mistral from a local perspective, understanding her as a representative icon of Chile, but also considering her universal presence, since the literature and knowledge she promoted with her poems and the rest of her literature are a source of constant relevance globally. The proposal Gabriela Mistral Cemetery It brings together different actions: Exhibition, Conferences, Interactive online dissemination, Debates on art and education, Heritage education workshops, Guided tours, and Participatory actions

The "Gabriela Mistral Cemetery" exhibition will feature a section titled "Cemeteries of Chile." Those interested in sharing photographs of various cemeteries in Chile are invited to submit their photos by uploading them to the form below, by Friday, July 25.

The selected photos will be exhibited at the Lo Contador mansion (Lo Contador UC campus, Providencia 1916).
