The Network of Faculties of Education with a Practice-Based Approach (RECIP) holds a meeting at the UC Education Center.

UC Education scholars presented the trajectory and evolution of the UC Pedagogies training model, as well as the incorporation of generative practices into the programs.

On August 13th, a new meeting of the UC Faculty of Education was held. Network of Faculties of Education with a Practice-Based Approach (RECIP), an event that brought together representatives from seven teacher training universities that implement—or are in the process of implementing—this training approach.
The day was attended by the dean Alejandro Carrasco and the deans of Education from different institutions, including María Jesús Honorato (UDLA), Paula Louzano (UDP) and Víctor Ruiz (USS).

During 2025, the RECIP network has focused its work on learning about experiences in the development and implementation of training models at various universities. On this occasion, the UC Education academics Magdalena Muller y Aurora Badillo They presented the trajectory of the training model of UC Pedagogies, created more than 12 years ago, highlighting its conceptual and applied evolution, as well as the incorporation of generative practices in teacher training programs.
“We were able to share the challenges we have encountered along the way and also the opportunities to move forward, for example, with new emphases on educational justice", commented the academic Florencia Gómez, who also participated in the organization of the meeting.
The meeting allowed participating universities to learn about experiences implementing the practice-based approach and to further consolidate the collaborative work of the RECIP network through 2025.
