class

Peer Mentoring Program

keyboard_arrow_down

It is a accompanying program to the first-year students of the Basic General Pedagogy and Early Childhood Education Pedagogy courses in their process of insertion into university life in their various areas, providing tools for making independent and responsible decisions about their academic and personal development. Tutoring is done in groups. To this end, the Student Development Subdirectorate defines the groups of first-time students who share courses in the first semester and assigns them a tutor.

The tutor is a student from the same program in higher years, who has been selected and trained to fulfill this support role.

The "Agents for the Prevention of Gender Violence and Discrimination in Education" program aims to train students as agents of change to prevent gender violence and discrimination, promoting healthy coexistence in educational settings, whether within university life or in professional practice. This program includes 16 weekly workshops, supplementary readings, and interventions for each participant to put what they have learned into practice. Meeting the participation requirements for this program leads to membership in the "Network of Agents for the Prevention of Gender Violence and Discrimination," allowing them to play an active role in the university in the prevention of this issue.
