UC Faculty of Education It forms future teachers prepared to address the challenges of the educational system in a collaborative and constructive manner, with a focus on promoting the learning and development of children and young people in schools, contributing to educational justice.

To achieve this purpose, it proposes a training model based on practice, which ensures integrated experiences for the development of specialized knowledge throughout the training path in each of the programs.

The teachers graduated from the UC Faculty of Education are inclusive professionals who stand out for their disciplinary, pedagogical, and professional competencies, which they deploy considering the principles of educational justice in diverse educational contexts.


Strengthening programs

PUC-FID

The Implementation Plan of the Program for Strengthening Initial Teacher Training (PI-FID) seeks to improve initial teacher training by promoting and structuring coherent learning opportunities throughout the curriculum based on practice and relevant to the transformations of the educational system for effective training and progressive quality of future educators.


Practicum Programme

It is a fundamental part of the training of excellent education professionals so that students gain experience in school classrooms. For that reason, the UC Pedagogy Practices System has a team of supervisors with extensive experience in educational institutions and a wide network of establishments that, semester by semester, welcome our students in practice for the growth and development of our teachers in training.


OPED Observatory of Educational and Digital Practices

The Observatory of Digital Educational Practices (OPED) has as main objective to investigate, develop and implement a training plan so that students and teachers have the necessary skills that allow them to teach in a digital context both inside and outside the university.
