The Department of Learning and Development seeks that future teachers have a comprehensive vision of the educational process based on research evidence, from the perspectives of the life cycle, school coexistence and educational psychology, emphasizing the generation and maintenance of environments conducive to learning.
In addition, we participates in the training of students of Master y PhD in education. Our research addresses topics such as family and classroom interaction factors that influence literacy, early math, and science literacy. Likewise, the promotion of executive functions, applied neuroscience, well-being of teachers, teacher learning and learning management practices. The department's work is disseminated in high-impact scientific journals, congresses of national and international scientific societies.
