The department Student affairs It is in charge of connecting the students of the careers and programs of UC Education with the different areas of the Faculty and the University that allow them to develop their academic life in an integral way.
We support the academic growth of our students in the different careers of UC Education such as Pedagogy in Early Childhood Education, Pedagogy in Basic General Education, Pedagogical Training Program (PFP), Interschool Program of Secondary Pedagogy in Sciences and Mathematics with his 4 races, Pedagogy in Physical Education and Health, Pedagogy in Catholic Religion, Pedagogy in Special Education y Pedagogy in English for Basic and Secondary Education together with the programs Master of Education y PhD in Education.
The Academic and Student Affairs Branch of the UC Faculty of Education (SUBDAE) is made up of an administrative team that guides students and manages the main academic processes. This team is directed by the Assistant Director of Faculty degrees, Úrsula Echeverría, and the Assistant Director of inter-faculty programs, María José Salinas. Both lead the implementation of the Peer Tutors program and the Ambassadors program, and work together with the student representatives in the design and application of new actions that respond to the needs of the student body.
The programs aim to contribute to the insertion, linking and development of students throughout their academic life.
The initiative accompanies the university insertion process of first-year students of Pedagogy majors with a peer tutor program, aimed at developing autonomy and responsible decision-making about their academic and personal training process.
We have a team of students who transmit the identity of our careers and UC Pedagogies programs to future newbies and newbies.
