Master of Education

The UC Master of Education program aspires to the interdisciplinary training of specialists so that they can contribute collaboratively to the improvement of educational practices and policies.

Regular Admission 2026

The regular call is addressed to all national or foreign applicants residing in Chile.

Regular call dates:

Applications will be accepted between October 1, 2025, and November 24, 2025. Results will be announced in early January 2026, and classes will begin in March 2026.

 


International Admission 2026

The international call is aimed at foreign applicants who live outside Chile and who need to apply for scholarships in their country of origin.

International call dates:

The application process will run from September 1 to 30, 2025, and results will be announced in October 2025. Classes will begin in March 2026.

TAI-certified UC Master of Education has a professional nature that aspires to interdisciplinary training of specialists and researchers capable of contributing to improvement processes in educational contexts.

Objectives

The UC Master of Education program seeks to train specialists and researchers who are capable of transforming classrooms from preschool to higher education.

  • Contributing to the development of applied knowledge in the educational field through professional training oriented towards decision-making in the adjustment and creation of educational proposals.
  • Colaborating in the training of specialists capable of renewing and improving educational proposals, in order to contribute to the transformation of policies and practices, oriented towards educational justice and person-centered training.
  • Training Education specialists recognized for their professional performance based on a strong base of theoretical-practical knowledge of the educational field, who are capable of proposing innovations from a repertoire of knowledge, and who promote collaborative work in the contexts that intervene to achieve shared goals.
  • Preparing professionals with strong ethical values ​​who exercise positive leadership to work as a team.

The graduate of the UC Master of Education must be able to propose improvements to educational processes, based on a strong theoretical and practical knowledge of the educational field, in a manner appropriate to the context and professional ethics. In addition, they must be able to design innovative proposals that integrate recent advances in education, with the purpose of renew and strengthen educational processes, along with promoting collaborative and interdisciplinary work plans to solve problems and achieve shared educational goals.
