Introduction: Natália Cândido Vendrasco is a biologist from the Federal University of Sao Paulo – Brazil, has a Master's in Didactics of Experimental Sciences from PUCV and is a doctoral candidate in Education from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. During her studies, she worked as an educator in various non-formal scientific education spaces and projects in Brazil and Chile, as a collaborating professor at the Universidade Federal do ABC, in Brazil, and as a teacher trainer in basic education pedagogy careers and in the teacher training program at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, where she currently works.
His work has focused on the teaching and learning processes of science in non-formal spaces, and on the initial training of science teachers.
His research and contributions have been disseminated at major conferences in the area of science education such as Enseñanza de las Ciencias and the ESERA Conference. In addition, the student was awarded the ESERA Early Career Researcher Travel Awards 2020 award to develop part of her doctoral studies at a European university and she received the Excellence Award for Teaching from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2021.
