Introduction: Carmen is an economist by training and passionate about educational policies and educational measurement by training. She is interested in quantitative methods, learning assessment, educational measurement, and the importance of promoting rigorous research that allows introducing socio-emotional aspects into the educational system. Since 2014 she has worked on educational projects in tasks related to mostly quantitative research.
About my thesis
Thesis: Exploring the utility of the growth mindset to mitigate teacher retention rates.
Project description: Document the use that the growth mindset has had in increasing the rate of teacher retention; explore the content validity of the growth mindset scale used in teachers; quasi-experimental studies to study the effect or association of the growth mindset on teacher retention.
