Introduction: José Julián Kenji is a doctoral student in psychology at the Universidad del Valle, Cali, Colombia and in joint supervision with a double degree with the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. In his research, interest in the development of scientific thinking of 10th grade students is appreciated when solving a problem situation that involves physical mechanisms.
About my thesis
Facility: Emergence of scientific thinking trajectories of adolescents when solving a problem situation in STEM that involves the use and understanding of physical mechanisms.
Project description: The study aims to explore in 10th grade students the emergence of scientific thought (conceptual and procedural components), and the role that challenging questions of the researcher play in them when they solve a problem situation in STEM areas (MRG) that involves physical mechanisms. . A microgenetic design is used, which consists of successive observations and in-depth analysis of the trajectories of scientific thought when solving a problem situation that involves the use and understanding of physical mechanisms.
