Early childhood teaching and learning
The research line is responsible for generating research, training and transfer in areas of early childhood foundational skill development and learning, corresponding to the ages of 0 to 6 years.
Description
This line of research studies the development and learning of foundational skills in early childhood (0 to 6 years) such as initial literacy, executive function, self-regulation and social emotional development. Likewise, it studies the factors that influence them such as social interaction, learning environments and effective pedagogies.
