Carrasco, Alexander

Associate professor

Alejandro Carrasco has researched educational inequality and how educational institutions can transform the educational and social trajectories of their students. He has collaborated with Mineduc and Agencia Educación among other. He has been director of CEPPE UC, head of the Doctorate in Education, co-editor of the PEL magazine and currently Principal Investigator of the ECJ and dean of the Faculty of Education UC.

Main areas of study: Educational policy, privatization and educational markets; Effectiveness and educational change.
