MORITURI: Didactic proposal of education for death


The project "DEAD. Didactic proposal of education for death" addresses the didactic treatment of death in school from an interdisciplinary and transcultural position similar to the postulates of "Education for Death", but with a focus on the classroom practices of Secondary Education.

The study proposes the design, validation and evaluation of the use of a didactic device with playful components that allows addressing the issue of death and its relationship with faith with the students of Secondary Education in Chile and Chad; It has a methodological design for evaluative research in that it seeks to contribute to pedagogical innovation in the teaching of religion based on creative-reflexive processes in which teachers and students participate. The game is intended to allow students to talk about death and build knowledge based on the central affirmations of Christianity, recognizing the necessary dialogue between this tradition and other religious and cultural beliefs.
