UC Education Graduate Programs welcome their new students

March 27th, 2024

A total of 139 students joined the UC Doctorate and Master's in Education programs

With a total of 14 Doctorate students and 125 Master's students, the UC Education Postgraduate programs carried out welcome activities in recent weeks for the new cohorts joining the Faculty.

The Doctorate in Education UC held a meeting in the Mabel Condemarín room, while the Master in Education UC held it in the Faculty auditorium and in different places on the Campus.

In the meeting with the Doctorate students, the dean of the Faculty, Alejandro Carrasco, mentioned that “it is transformative to do a doctorate. My intention is for you to live all these years, all this experience, with enthusiasm, calmly. I congratulate you for embarking on this.”

“Researching and writing a doctoral thesis is a long road, but it is very transformative. They are years away from finishing, but remember. It transforms one as a person, professionally and intellectually. Take advantage of these years,” he added.

Verónica Santelices, head of the Master's program, thanked the students for having trusted the program to deepen their learning and enhance their professional practices.

“Your trust motivates us and commits us even more to our work. The dedicated group of professionals, professors and teaching assistants of the Magister program are committed to ensuring that their experiences are academically rigorous and practically relevant,” he added.
