Design of a training proposal for supervising teachers of UC Pedagogies


The formative curriculum of the Faculty of Education declares to have a model based on practice. This determines that the internship supervisors constitute an essential formative axis. Consequently, there is an urgent need to have instances of teacher development for this role that align forms of observation, feedback and accompaniment on the basis of the Formative Model.

With the purpose of advancing the training of professors and supervising professors of the different UC Pedagogies programs, to give coherence to their work around the Formative Model and the effective practices of observation and feedback in the accompaniment of the practical process in schools, this project seeks:
Develop a documentary review within the Faculty of Education to systematize all teacher training initiatives in the training model that have emerged in the last 5 years.
Characterize the training needs of the supervisors of all the Faculty programs around the training model and the observation and feedback practices.
Design a training path for supervisors that integrates materials that are already available, with other materials designed for the purpose of their training.

In this way, it will be possible to have teacher training for supervising teachers that allows aligning the training work, for the benefit of UC Pedagogías students in their practice processes.
