Focused on social justice, CIIE 2024 brought together more than a thousand specialists to discuss educational challenges and their impact on public policies towards a more equitable system.

The Sixth Interdisciplinary Congress on Education Research -CIIE 2024-, which will take place in Santiago de Chile on October 22, 23 and 24, 2024, has opened extraordinary registrations for all those who wish to participate as audience members of the Congress.
The event brought together PhD students and academics with the aim of exploring new methodologies to address social justice from a feminist perspective.
At this event, educators in training - soon to graduate - learn about the proposals of various educational institutions.
The program was developed within the framework of the Educational Reactivation Plan, in which UC Education has participated from the beginning.
The meeting was led by Lelya Troncoso, a feminist social psychologist from the University of Chile.
CIIE 2024 will take place on October 22, 23 and 24, 2024 in Santiago and will feature more than 600 presentations, thematic panels and methodological workshops, and three prominent international speakers.
The talk entitled “The limits of (sexual) consent, reports of violence and the problems of punitivism” was organized by the Gender Sub-directorate of the UC Faculty of Education, the Gender Sub-directorate of the Faculty of History, Geography and Political Science, and the Gender Equality Unit of the School of Civil Construction.
Aurora Badillo, head of the Pedagogías UC internship system, and Macarena Lobos, executive coordinator, attended the City of Frankfort School within the framework of the Project “Link between University and School for inclusive teacher training.”
The event, organized by the Gender Subdirectorate of UC Education, included the participation of María Teresa Rojas, director of Gender, Diversity and Equity UAH.
