The Student Development Sub-Directorate of the UC Faculty of Education held a training day for the 2026 student representatives, aimed at strengthening leadership, collaborative work and participation within the university community.

The UC Education academic will lead the committee, promoting new challenges in teaching, postgraduate studies, and dissemination.

For the fourth year, Ópera UC presents "The Magic Flute in Schools," a project that combines arts education and Project-Based Learning to bring opera to students in grades 1 through 8. The initiative includes performances in San Ramón and Ñuñoa, and an educational book will soon be available as open access.

The Gender Sub-Directorate of the UC Faculty of Education participated in the 4th Fair of Non-Sexist Education and Self-Care at Liceo 4 Isaura Dinator, an event that promoted Comprehensive Sexual Education, the prevention of violence and the construction of more inclusive and discrimination-free educational spaces.

The third discussion in the Education, Democracy and Gender series at the UC Faculty of Education brought together academics and students to reflect on the political, educational and collective meaning of freedom, within the framework of the commemoration of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and in a year marked by democratic debate.

The thematic issue of the journal Educational Thought brings together research from different countries that examines the principles, dilemmas and effects of student financing policies.

Paulina Labra, Coordinator of Basic General Pedagogy Practices, presented the progress of a FONDEDOC project that seeks to unify criteria, systematize practices and support tutor teachers in the use of essays and simulations in UC pedagogies.
