The UC held its first FONDEDOC workshop on gender mainstreaming in higher education, sharing curricular experiences to advance equitable training.

The delegation attended the Faculty to share with the students of the UC Doctorate in Education.

The project was developed in collaboration with the Focus Foundation and a team of students and novice teachers of Basic Education and Special Education Pedagogy from the UC Faculty of Education. The materials are available free of charge on the National Tutoring Plan platform.

The vice dean of the UC Faculty of Education participated in CIMER's Entering Mentoring program, recognized for its evidence-based approach to strengthening mentoring in research in higher education. The lessons learned will be implemented with faculty members from the Faculty.

The event, organized by the UC Faculty of Education and the Center for Intercultural and Indigenous Studies (CIIR), featured a keynote address by Melinda Webber, a prominent Māori scholar from the University of Auckland.

The event, organized by the Gender Sub-Directorate, addressed the risks of digital communities that promote hate speech and the challenges facing education regarding digital gender-based violence.

Academician Edgar Valencia presented a reflection on the use of questionnaires as a tool for evaluating university teaching, addressing their potential, limitations, and the debates surrounding their application. The event featured academician Malba Barahona as a commentator.

Tenorio entered the program in 2002 and graduated in November 2007.

Following the recent training, the program has reached a total of 120 educators and assistants and impacted 1.000 children participating in the educational program.

The academic leads two projects that promote locally rooted learning: an educational guide on the Chango and Diaguita cultures in the Coquimbo Region, and a school publication exploring the archaeological and natural heritage of the mouth of the Loa River.

It consists of recognition of the academic excellence of undergraduate students who demonstrate outstanding academic performance upon entering the University or during their stay.

Academics Natalia Ávila, Diego Carrasco, Rosario Escribano and Carolina Castillo, a student in the UC Doctoral Program in Education, along with M. Jesús Espinosa (UDP) and Javiera Figueroa (UAH), received the Liz Hamp-Lyons Award.
